Hario Cold Brew Tea - Ka-Ku Bottle

Bottle to make Cold Brew tea. The square shape of the bottle makes it efficient for horizontal storage. When tea is brewed cold and slowly, hardly any tannins and caffeine dissolve in the water. That is why tea prepared with cold water is rarely bitter.

Brewing method: Did you brew tea with cold water before? First, add your favorite (full leaf) tea, pour cold water into the bottle and put it in the fridge. This brewing method gives your tea with a smooth and rich taste without a hint of bitterness. The filter in the top part of the bottle keeps the leaves in for a clear infusion.

The Ka-Ku bottle is also great for preparing flavored water: just add your favorite fruit instead of tea leaves.

Design: The bottle is made of plastic (Tritan): lightweight, durable and food safe. The upper part is made of silicone and the filter is plastic. The materials and the wide opening make maintenance easy, the bottle is dishwasher safe. Thanks to the shape of the bottle, you can store it upright or lay it on its side.
